Telecommunication Engineer Initial 6 month contract with with a global Telecom clientSeeking experience in NOKIA 3G or 4G or LTE mobile network roll-outs.Work on part of a major rail communication refresh project.The role: One of our global telecom clients is looking for a Telecommunication Engineer to join their team with a passion for resolving complex technical issues and ensuring the smooth deployment of LTE networks in challenging environments.
Responsibilities: Responsible for Telecom or Infrastructure according to specialty/expertise required within own area or across field organizationInstallation knowledge and understanding of 3G/4G multi vendor site buildsResponsible for Installing, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting LTE Network in RAIL environment.Responsible for Leading & Training & supporting 3rd party contractors for Installing, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting LTE Network in RAIL environment.Responsible for performance levels to SLA/OLA applicable in own areaResponsible for site testing and acceptance based on test procedures and test planSupports acceptance of Network & Sites in own areaSupports escalated Deployments matters in own areaSupports Outage and general investigations for report purposesSupports liaison with Deployments subcontractors & 3rd parties in own areaUndertake special assignments to resolve Network Operations issues Key Experience: Hands-on experience in NOKIA 3G or 4G or LTE mobile network roll-outs.Understanding of NOKIA's site and delivery processes.Ability to work independently and cooperate with subcontractors.Travel within Australia may be required.Education: Engineer or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering or similar.
