Welders & Boilermakers (Trades & Services) Teks Engineering is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Site Supervisor to join our team in Adelaide, SA.
This is a full-time position that will oversee the installation and fabrication of structural steel for our construction projects.
As the Structural Steel Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing Supervise and coordinate the work of a team of structural steel installers and fabricators Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to direct the team in the installation and fabrication of structural steel components Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates and address any issues Implement and maintain quality control processes to identify and resolve any non-conformances Provide hands-on support and guidance to the team as needed Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the project What we're looking for Significant experience (5+ years) as a Structural Steel Site Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role in the construction industry Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and installation techniques, as well as relevant Australian Standards and building codes Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle challenges on site Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a team to achieve project goals Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (e.g., Welding, Rigging, Dogging) What we offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career advancement Supportive and collaborative work environment Access to the latest industry tools and technologies Flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance About us Teks Engineering is a leading provider of structural steel solutions for the construction industry in South Australia.
