Technology Trainer - Technology User EngagementThe role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Trainer to join the Canberra Technology User Engagement team.
The Technology User Engagement team Our Technology User Engagement team offers training and technical support to partners and employees of Clayton Utz. The training is delivered as one-on-one, classroom, seminar style, or webinar. The training encompasses most software applications available on mobile devices, digital dictation devices, desktops, laptops, and hardware devices such as iPads and video conference equipment. The role of the Technology Trainer is to facilitate IT learning programs aligned with Clayton Utz's business strategy and to assist the local Infrastructure Support Analyst where required.
Key responsibilities Facilitate IT learning programs aligned with Clayton Utz's business strategy.Promote and conduct orientation training and other regular advanced and refresher training programs to extend users' skill levels.Provide remote training for other offices when required.Conduct regular floorwalks and provide ad-hoc training support.Identify gaps to recommend and conduct appropriate training and development.Develop and maintain training materials and aids relevant to training courses and business needs.Work with individuals to ascertain the best technology for their business needs.Work proactively with the National IT Department to provide a high level of support and detailed assistance to all users.What we are looking for? Advanced Microsoft 365 knowledge.Experience as an IT trainer ideally in professional services/law firm or a large corporate environment.A Certificate IV in Training and Education or tertiary qualifications in adult education (highly regarded).Experience with Document Management Systems would be an advantage.A proactive and professional working style, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A genuine drive to learn new systems and work collaboratively with the team.How to Apply?
