About Your New EmployerWest Recruitment is partnering with a highly innovative Australian business that is at the forefront of a rapidly changing industry that has attracted significant investment and new technologies that are working towards a more sustainable future.About Your New RoleThe Technology Strategy & Enablement Manager is responsible for the development and execution of the IT strategy for this large Australian company. Leading a team of 8, this role will act as the conduit between the technology function and the business and is positioned as the trusted adviser to the senior leadership team and board.Other key responsibilities include:
Collaborate with the Corporate Strategy function to ensure the technology strategy can underpin the corporate strategy.
Build long term strategic plans for the technology function in consultation with business leaders that anticipate business needs.
Analyse the existing IT environment, to ensure maximum performance and value is delivered to the business.
Represent the Technology function to business stakeholders across all areas of operations.
Oversee the IT architecture including future planning for the company.
Lead architectural governance initiatives that include technology standards, policies & procedures.
Drive continuous improvement throughout the Technology function whilst promoting best practice at all levels.
Development of an integrated people, process and technology plan to deliver optimum performance and increased human capability.
About You
Can demonstrate competence in the above listed tasks, in an IT / technology leadership position.
Have proven experience at partnering with senior and board level executives, where you were able to effectively partner, challenge and influence during your interactions and have positioned yourself as the 'subject expert' for all technology related queries.
Will bring proven expertise in developing and executing an IT strategy for an enterprise level organisation.
In prior roles, you have transformed a business enabling IT function into one that can operate as a 'business driver'.
Your career trajectory has seen you gain well rounded skills by performing various positions throughout an IT function.
Whilst not necessarily coming from an IT architecture background, you have prior experience managing architecture and have sound working knowledge.
Is a strategic thinker with a natural curiosity for new technology and how it is applied in practical terms.
Interpersonally, you have a defined communication style and corporate presence that allows you to relate to senior leaders and non IT stakeholders alike.
