We want you to lead the way as an IRAP Assessor, ensuring compliance, protecting critical systems, and driving cybersecurity excellence for mission success.About the opportunity:We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced IRAP assessor to support a number of C4i Solutions Defence projects. The IRAP Assessor will play a key role in evaluating and certifying the security of systems, ensuring compliance with the Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) standards. This role involves conducting detailed security assessments, providing expert advice, and guiding compliance and accreditation processes.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments of systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure compliance with IRAP and Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) standards.Review security policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.Provide expert advice on mitigating security risks and improving overall security posture based on assessment findings.Develop detailed assessment reports, including risk assessments, recommendations, and accreditation advice, tailored to each organization's needs.Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, service providers, and internal teams, to ensure a smooth certification process.Keep up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, IRAP policies, and relevant regulatory updates to provide accurate guidance.About you:Certified IRAP Assessor (or working towards certification) with a deep understanding of Australian Government security frameworks, including ISM and PSPF (Protective Security Policy Framework).Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor (Highly preferred).Experience in government, Defence, or other highly regulated sectors.Ex ADF personnel encouraged to apply.Australian citizen with a current or inactive AGSVA clearance (NV1).Extensive experience conducting security assessments, audits, or penetration testing, preferably within government or Defence environments.In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity risk management, vulnerability assessments, and remediation strategies.Strong report-writing skills with the ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to work remotely with periodic assignments.How to apply:To apply, please submit your resume (PDF or Word) format with your cover letter.
