How will I help? AssistNow program is in place to lay foundations for a single collections platform which will replace multiple collections systems across the group. This role is within the portfolio delivery team, working closely with the various key stakeholders and assist in key deliverables as per responsibilities assigned by the Portfolio Director or their delegate.
This position will mainly focus on managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects which are highly integrated or working towards a common strategy. Ensuring all technology aspects of the project are successfully monitored, documented, tracked, reported, integrated and implemented.
The role will include, and is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Support the Portfolio Director in delivery of the Business components for the project.Oversee & enforce delivery adherence to all required Westpac frameworks.Work with the leads and various WBC teams and build a sprint Plan plus monitor and report on progress.Ensure creation, management & reporting of a robust detailed project schedule.Manage business and project deliverables (including mandatory deliverables) as per agreed scope and schedule.As requested by the Portfolio Director run the sprints, team stand-ups and report back on progress and/or blockers.Put together and execute a go live / release plan with the various teams.Work closely with all Stream Leads. Architect, SI partners, WBC teams, Business and Technology Vendor and resolve any issues raised by the teams.Manage co-ordination & reporting of stream leads reporting packs.Manage resources onboarding and approvals process.Reporting on progress to Portfolio Director.Oversee RAID management across the Project.What's in it for me? What do I need? To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the below skills:
At least 10 years of project management experience.Experience in delivery of Technology/Business projects for Financial services organisation.A strong understanding of technology and business systems and processes.Well versed with agile and Waterfall project delivery. Relevant tertiary qualifications (PMI / Agile / Prince2)Strong skills in MS project and / or Clarity.Strong stakeholder management and working with senior stakeholders.Collections delivery experience would be advantageous. What's it like to work there?
