With our Riverside Office located only an 8-minute drive to the Launceston CBD, there is no better place in Tasmania to work than the Tamar Valley!With an employee base of 140 people (120FTE) you will be joining a diverse and inclusive team.About the JobReporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the successful candidate will be the initial point of contact to provide first level support to users and assist the Technology Services team implement information technology and communication systems and services.You will be rewarded with a salary starting at $71,237 + employer super up to 15% + a nine-day fortnight + no debit – no credit personal leave + ability to negotiate flexible work arrangements in line with Council's Enterprise Agreement.About youWe are looking for someone who has:Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsKnowledge of networking technologies involving client/server-based application/operating systems, software and hardwareExcellent incident analysis and prioritisation skillsPrevious experience within a similar helpdesk or service support environmentAn ability to diagnose software problems and hardware faultsA willingness to learn new software and platformsA strong team player mindset and is comfortable working independentlyA (minimum) certificate IV in Information TechnologyWant to take the next step in your Technology career?Visit our website here to review the Position Description and download an Application for Employment Form.
