Responsibilities:
Advise clients on a wide range of technology-related legal matters, including data privacy, cybersecurity, and intellectual property.
Negotiate contract terms with internal and external stakeholders.
Identify potential risks and provide strategic advice on a diverse range of risk and regulatory matters.
Offer strategic guidance on emerging technology trends and their legal implications.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years PQE working in Australia.
Deep understanding of technology law and experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of SaaS contracts.
In-depth knowledge of Australian data privacy laws and regulations including the Privacy Act.
A commercial and pragmatic approach with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Experience working on and negotiating government contracts is highly desirable.
Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice in Australia.
