Sydney, Australia About the role: As a Technology Business Consultant, you'll contribute to a critical component of our success.
While working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative, new solutions that meet their needs and help advance the way the world pays, banks and invests.
What you will be doing: Researching client needs, analysing trends, recommending best practices, mapping the requirements to the system, and creating detailed specifications documents.
Configuring treasury system based on the specifications.
Devising procedures to achieve greater efficiencies, solving complex problems and recommending solutions.
Conducting a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness, and acceptance tests.
Conducting tests using client data to be certain client needs will be met.
Influencing clients, business partners and service providers regarding priorities & system capabilities including training internal and external users.
What you will need: Advanced knowledge of Treasury operations (Front, Middle and Back office) including Accounting/Hedge/GL knowledge.
Excellent knowledge of Treasury Financial Instruments and its functions (Foreign Exchange, Securities, Mutual Funds, Repos and Derivatives) including pricing and valuations.
Understanding of Hosted & Saa S implementation environments.
Experience in using SQL DB/Oracle DB and knowledge of web interfaces.
Background in Consulting, Project / end-to-end systems implementation as a Functional / technical Consultant.
Hands on using and configuring systems.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Understanding of the database structure by utilizing report writing tools.
Previous experience with Quantum Software or a similar Treasury/Risk management software product.
A bachelor's degree in business or finance or equivalent experience.
