The Opportunity: Join our Smart Construction Division in Welshpool, WA as a Technology Advisor and play a key role in shaping the future of the construction industry!
In this exciting role, you will be the go-to expert for Komatsu's cutting-edge Smart Construction solutions, empowering customers with the latest advancements in intelligent Machine Control, site optimisation software and quarry fleet management systems.
Roster: Monday - Friday
Location: Welshpool, WA
Responsibilities: Deliver engaging product demonstrations, comprehensive training, and exceptional support to Komatsu teams and customers, driving increased sales of Smart Construction products and solutions.Champion customer success: Provide on-site and remote support to ensure customer satisfaction, addressing their needs from site localisation and machine setup to troubleshooting, GNSS/Survey support, and 3D data conversion for seamless integration with Komatsu's systems.Collaborate with sales: Work closely with Sales Managers and Representatives to sell Smart Construction solutions, gather valuable customer insights and identify business opportunities and pain points.Be at the forefront of innovation: Participate in testing, Proof of Concept (POC), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new technologies and special projects, ensuring market readiness and positive customer reception.Share your expertise: Actively participate in field days, trade shows, and market events to showcase the advantages of Komatsu and Smart Construction Division products.Drive technology utilisation: Monitor customer technology usage through platforms like iValue and the Smart Construction portal to help customers maximise the benefits of their iMC and other solutions.Ensure smooth technology implementation: Perform machine calibrations, software uploads, and fitment of Komatsu iMC and aftermarket components during machine assembly and pre-delivery inspections, both in the factory and in the field, guaranteeing optimal technology performance.Contribute to a seamless support experience: Actively support and participate in implementing a support ticketing/management system to monitor, track, and resolve customer support requests efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.Komatsu Benefits: Families Policy: 16 weeks of paid primary carer parental leave, 4 weeks of secondary carer leave, plus many more family friendly benefitsFinancial:Company funded Income Protection InsuranceCareer:Recognition, awards, flexibility, further education studies and internal career developmentHealth:Corporate discount with Bupa, Total Wellbeing SolutionTravel:Discounts with Avis, Qantas, Crown, IHG and travel agentsYearly Bonus: Potential to receive a yearly bonusReferral Program: $3000 referral payment for referring a successful new employee to KomatsuWhat We Are Looking for: Qualification: Mechanical Trade or Auto-Electrical Trade Qualification, Survey or Geospatial Qualification or Engineering Qualification.Technical Expertise: Possess strong technical knowledge and a genuine passion for digital site systems and applications.Proven Experience: Demonstrate proven expertise in integrated machine control setup, calibration, operation, and training, along with experience in aftermarket positioning, weighing, and other system installations, calibration, operation, and training/handover.Customer-Centric Mindset: Embrace a customer-centric approach and a strong commitment to achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.Proactive and Self-Driven: Be proactive, self-driven, and capable of working independently and taking initiative.Teamwork and Communication: Exhibit strong teamwork orientation and excellent communication skills when interacting with management, colleagues, and customers, ensuring timely communication, reporting, and escalation of issues and opportunities.This is your chance to join a dynamic team and make a real difference in the construction industry!Apply now and help us build the future, smarter!
