The role As a result of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced industrial refrigeration technician to expand our team. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for the right person. Based in Brisbane and reporting to the service manager, we are looking for a person who is self-motivated and reliable. Someone who is flexible in their outlook, creative, and can think outside the square to keep jobs running smoothly.
Key responsibilities include: Carry out planned and unplanned service & maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems.Accurate and timely completion of required paperwork related to work performed.Fostering and maintaining professional working relationships with our customers.Comply with all site safety, company, and statutory policies and procedures at all times.Actively participate in all company facilitated training and service meetings as required.Applicants are required to possess: Be a qualified or experienced Refrigeration Mechanic.Possess a current valid driver's licence.Possess a current ARC licence.Possess a current Restricted Electrical licence.To be successful in this role, ideally you will have: Previous experience in industrial refrigeration.Strong work ethic.Good presentation.Excellent written and verbal skills.Proven experience working individually and in a team.Ability to take direction.Ability to work without supervision.Willingness to work flexible hours, manage time, and meet deadlines.Ammonia experience preferred but not essential.Positive and proactive approach to safety.We offer: A competitive pay rate, including a fully maintained vehicle, uniform, mobile phone, and PPE vest.
