Technician - Metallurgical

Processing, Copper Concentrator - Metallurgy Mount Isa, QLD Ref. No. 16266 We are currently seeking a Technician - Metallurgical to join our Metallurgy team at the Copper Concentrator. This is a residential role, working in accordance with a 5/2/4/3 roster, reporting directly through to the Senior Plant Metallurgist. Please note - this position will be offered on a 12-month fixed term contract.
The Role In this role you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of key process control equipment including spares management, calibration, vendor management, plant and End of Month sampling, and sampling equipment inspections.
The successful candidate will ideally possess: Exposure to on-line analysers (e.g. MSA, OSA, PSI)Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office suite.Demonstrated understanding of risk management, safety systems and legislative requirements.Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.Applications Close: 8:00 am Tuesday 28th January 2025
