About the role
As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining our Manufacturing Facilities and Services on the Kalgoorlie Explosive Reserve. You will be working within a small maintenance team and your primary focus will be working hands-on on preventative maintenance schedules, breakdowns & shutdowns.
This opportunity is residential to Kalgoorlie, so therefore all interested parties must have their own accommodation as FIFO is not on offer.

What you will be doingSupport the operation of the manufacturing facilities within the reserve;Work within the maintenance team and alongside the reliability engineer to develop maintenance solutions that cost effectively support long term plant operation;Ensuring work practices and environment comply with SH&E standards; andWorking with the Production Teams in developing Continuous Improvement Initiatives, from concept through to implementation.What you will bringMinimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment;Mechanical Trade Certificate (essential);Excellent written and communication skills;Strong safety focus.What we offer
