About the RoleWe are currently seeking safety focused Electricians to join our Fixed Plant Shutdown team on a Dynamic 182 roster Fly In Fly Out from Perth. A Dynamic 182 roster is similar to a shutdown roster made up of 182 shifts a year, shifts will be dependent on demand but because you will be a permanent employee you still receive a consistent fortnightly pay regardless of the amount of shifts you work. As part of the shutdown team you will execute shutdown planned maintenance across the 5 inland Iron Ore mine process plants within the central and eastern Pilbara regions (Yandi, Area C, South Flank, Jimblebar & Whaleback).
Key responsibilities: Fixed Plant Maintenance on Extra Low Voltage, Low Voltage and High Voltage equipmentInspection, servicing, testing, and reporting of faults on Electrical SystemsMaintenance and modification of cables, equipment, and associated structuresInstallation of new cables, equipment, and associated structuresProtection equipment inspectionsResidual Current Device testingRamp down & ramp up electrical supportHV (RADIAL) and LV IsolationsApplication & removal of shutdown lock boxesAbout YouThe successful candidate will possess the following:
