DESCRIPTION We are looking for a talented Field Service Heavy Diesel Technician to join our high performing field service team in Townsville, QLD.

*In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:* Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the field, this will be on an on-call roster First responder to breakdown events Fleet maintenance Capturing engine data Fault diagnostics Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor Inspect and replace components as required Engine rebuilding and reconditioning Working autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environment Work with other major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) RESPONSIBILITIES *To be successful in this role you will need the following:* Field service experience preferred coupled with heavy duty engine experience Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Diesel preferred but not necessary) Strong engine diagnostic experience The ability to work autonomously/remotely for extended periods A genuine commitment to workplace safety A valid driver's license Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly rate paid as a permanent salary Relocation assistance offered from anywhere in Australia $5,000 Sign on Bonus Tool of Trade Vehicle provided plus Tool Allowance Overtime & Loading penalties Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms provided Further training provided on site Income Protection continuance insurance Discounts with select private health insurance, PC software/hardware and a range of vehicles Annual remuneration review Participation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) program A range of personal and professional benefits At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
