Job Overview Brymore is a State Boarding School for boys aged 11 – 16 set in its own 60-acre site with a working farm, gardens, workshops and sports facilities. We are looking for a well-organised, practical and understanding individual to join the Academy as a Technician. Predominantly supporting Design and Technology but also supporting the Horticulture and Art departments when required. The main purpose of the Technician role is to assist in the teaching, delivery and maintenance of the department, and to support teaching and learning within the department.
Responsibilities Assist in the teaching, delivery, and maintenance of the Design and Technology department. Support the Horticulture and Art departments as needed. Work 37 hours per week, 36 weeks per year (Term time + inset days + occasional Saturday working). Qualifications You will need to be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in literacy and numeracy, with experience of dealing with young people. Experience of supporting students within an educational setting would be an advantage.
