We have multiple positions available for qualified and experienced  Fitters  across Australia including Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia.
Duties and responsibilities: Performing repairs and services in accordance with work orders, scheduled services using workshop Unit manuals as appropriate.
Requisitioning parts etc., as needed to perform work, from the Maintenance Leading Hand.
Performing job safety analysis prior to commencing allocated jobs documenting and completing all reports on equipment repaired or serviced.
Ensuring that the work area, tools and equipment are maintained in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
Ensuring compliance to the organisation's Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Management System for all responsible areas.
Detecting and Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks other precision-based maintenance methods Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on reverse osmosis units, pumps, valves, piping systems, water monitoring equipment and all auxiliary equipment as required Maintains control of plant tools, manuals, assemblies and consumables Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts, reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed Monitors and performs preventive maintenance on waste heat recovery system and components Perform machine operations, servicing and engine overhauls Performing schedule maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollutions regulations Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance Diagnosing and testing parts with assistance of computer Conducting modifications Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience as a Fitter Experience with crane machines (All sizes) and travel towers.
Be able to provide evidences of work history Excellent in English communication skills Overseas experience is an advantage Salary:  $70,000 - $100,000 per year (commensurate to skills and experience)
