With the area becoming increasingly popular and service bookings rising our client seeks to recruit two qualified technicians to join their team. Location Hobart sits on the river Derwent. A beautiful city, affordable, possessing vibrant cafes, pristine beaches, native forests and more! This role is situated less than 15 minutes from the heart of the city and unlike Sydney or Brisbane, travelling to work has never been so easy. Role Responsibilities Efficiently conduct routine repairs, servicing, and diagnostics on a range of makes & models for both light vehicles, 4wd's and campers Equipped with knowledge of repair engine, transmission, suspension systems. Provide the customer with explanations of service faults & issues. Perform your assigned duties in a productive, efficient, safe & organized manner. Troubleshooting mechanical/electrical faults       Competencies Desired Cert 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology/similar Ability to use diagnostic tools. Prior experience in similar role A team player with effective communication skills Reliability & responsibility Valid Driver's License       An attractive hourly rate, overtime, performance-based incentives, and more is on offer.
