Good hourly rate on offer Monday to Friday Uniform provided Our client is an established business, operated by its current owners since 2004.
7kms from the city in the inner western suburbs, it is an old-school workshop with modern equipment.
Your job will be interesting, not boring, there will be something different to do every day.
Qualifications   Trade qualified, Cert III Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic.
Good work ethic and attention to detail.
You are reliable and motivated.
Good communication with fellow staff and management.
Ability to follow instructions.
Proven Diagnostic skills and Safety Certificate Licence an advantage.
Current Manual Drivers Licence and own tools.
Not all cars are "plug and play" thinking on your feet and problem solving considered good skills to have.
Responsibilities   Servicing all makes and models and jobs as per the repair order.
Brakes, timing belts, clutches, tyres, general mechanics.
Typical vehicles that come through our workshop, Subaru, Ford, Holden, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai and European.
From late model under warranty to vintage and pre 1980 classics.
On offer   Friendly team and management.
Friday afternoon staff sausage sizzle.
Above award rate paid, salary negotiable, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
No weekend work, but opportunity to work occasional half day Saturday if desired.
Overtime rates apply.
Uniform provided.
38-hour week, Monday to Friday.
Flexible working hours apply with negotiation.
