We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our talented team and support our mission through the creation of precise and impactful documentation.Position Summary:As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing technical documentation for our products and services.
Your work will ensure that our customers, engineers, and operational teams have access to clear, concise, and comprehensive information.
This role requires a deep understanding of engineering concepts, excellent writing skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Documentation Development: Create, edit, and maintain technical documents including user manuals, installation guides, maintenance procedures, and product specifications.Research and Analysis: Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather information and understand complex technical concepts.Content Strategy: Develop and implement documentation standards and best practices to enhance clarity, consistency, and usability of technical content.Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of documentation for accuracy and compliance with industry standards, company policies, and customer needs.Project Coordination: Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.Training and Support: Assist in the development of training materials and conduct workshops or training sessions as needed for internal and external stakeholders.Travel Requirements: Participate in international and interstate travel to conduct on-site research, gather insights from product usage, and collaborate with teams and clients.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the mining, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.Strong understanding of technical concepts and engineering principles related to mining equipment and processes.Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.Proficiency in documentation tools and software (e.g., Arbortext, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Microsoft Office Suite).Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.Willingness to travel internationally and interstate as required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
