Technical Writer

Our client is in the process of delivering a multi-year program of work to build a new hosted, trading platform.
As part of the project scope, a number of internal project artifacts need to be translated into technical and operational documentation for the internal use of all support teams.
This will involve working closely with multiple teams across multiple domains within the business to create and share a knowledge management repository.
Responsibilities Liaise with all areas of the business including engineering teams, SMEs, Technical analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to create and maintain high-quality content.
You will create project artifacts into technical support documents including Standard Operating Procedures, Run Books, User Access Controls, ITSM technically aligned specifications.
You will catalogue all documentation to allow all support teams to quickly search and find the relevant content.
Skills and experience required Strong background in translating and turning project requirements, Functional and or technical specifications into support documentation.
Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal.
Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team.
Strong collaboration skills, ability to seek and identify the relevant people needed to gather the required information.
Financial Services background experience is highly desirable.
Good understanding of technical domains within complex environments.
Experience in ITIL and or COBIT frameworks is highly desirable.
Keen and enthusiastic approach towards challenging tasks, ability to deliver and meet deadlines.
