NES Fircroft is partnered with a world leader in mining who is seeking an experienced Technical Writer for an initial 12-month contract position based on site in South Australia.Reporting to the Superintendent, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating clear, concise documentation for complex technical processes, specifically related to fixed plant mining equipment.About the roleThis position is based in the CBD of Adelaide and is offered as a 5/2 schedule.Main job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and process documentation.Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to gather information and understand complex processes.Use SAP to extract relevant data and ensure documentation aligns with system functionalities.Ensure all documentation is accurate, accessible, and user-friendly.Support the implementation of new technologies and processes by providing comprehensive documentation.About YouAs the successful candidate, you will possess the following:Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in fixed plant mining equipment.Proficiency in SAP and a strong understanding of its functionalities.Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.Ability to translate complex technical information into clear documentation.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.What's in it for you:Generous hourly rateInitial 12-month contract5/2 based in Adelaide CBDCamp accommodation and meals providedReach out for more information: ******
