Technical Writer

Our Client, an industry leader in providing quality consulting and resourcing services, is looking for a skilled and experienced Technical Writer. This is a long-term Contract role. As a Technical Writer you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and easy-to-understand technical documentation for our clients. Responsibilities Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including user guides, installation guides, and release notes. Collaborating with various teams, such as software developers, project managers, and subject matter experts, to gather information and ensure accuracy of documentation. Ensuring documentation is easy to understand and follows established guidelines for tone, style, and formatting. Developing templates and style guides for technical documentation. Managing multiple documentation projects simultaneously and meeting established deadlines. Updating and maintaining existing documentation to reflect changes in software releases and updates. Conducting research to identify new trends and best practices in technical writing. Requirements Bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in technical writing in the information technology industry. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Experience with documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Word, Confluence, and Adobe Acrobat. Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
