About The Role To help us keep up with our ever-evolving product offering, we are seeking a Technical Writer to join the aXcelerate family!
As a Technical Writer, you'll be responsible for creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for our software products.
Your success will be measured by the quality of help content, ease of understanding for users, and effective communication of product changes.
Our Brisbane-based office offers hybrid work options; however, we welcome applications from remote candidates within Australia.
Summary of Responsibilities Develop and maintain comprehensive help documentation for new and existing features within the product.Write clear and engaging release notes for software updates, ensuring our clients are informed of new features and improvements.Identify gaps in existing documentation and enhance help content based on user feedback and product updates.Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and UX designers to ensure the accuracy and clarity of technical documentation.Ensure all documentation aligns with the company's tone, style, and branding guidelines.Monitor AI help tools and provide feedback to improve user support resources.Assist in maintaining our Product Capability Library, which documents all functions within our products.About You Excellent written communication skills with an ability to simplify complex concepts.Strong attention to detail and an eye for both technical accuracy and readability.Someone who's keen to move into the exciting SaaS space or has worked in the industry before.Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in the software or technology industry.Familiarity with software development processes and terminology.Well-developed interpersonal skills and the confidence to work one-on-one with relevant stakeholders.A degree in a relevant field is desired but not mandatory.Experience with documentation tools and content management systems such as Zendesk, Jira and AI tools.Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of software systems and compliance frameworks.A strong work ethic and positive attitude towards your role.What's on Offer Hybrid or remote working opportunity.Office close to public transport with some on-site parking options.A vibrant, supportive, and team-oriented culture, with regular team activities and social events.A focus on professional development, with internal and external training and a personal $2000 professional development budget each year.Employee Assistance Program for you and for your family.Opportunities for career advancement—we nurture our talent and provide career pathways across the business.How to Apply: Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your experience and why you're the perfect fit for this role to ******.
