Technical Transition Manager

12 months contract working with the state government on a large innovative platform transformation.
The role is a key position within a large transformation project, bridging the gap between the large program of work, the board, and the technical leaders. This involves all aspects of transformation management including scope definition, scheduling, resource management, vendor management, communications, technical delivery, and understanding.

Location: Perth
Duration: 12 months contract, with the potential to extend
Day Rate: $1200 per day

Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and improve stakeholder relations – both internal and external.Lead the technical transition from one software platform to another.Provide appropriate resource and reporting management inputs to ensure on-time delivery.Deliver into the technical detail, planning, and negotiation within the large transformation.Experience Required: Experience in an infrastructure manager or technology manager role.Experience working on large-scale Technical/IT projects.Thorough understanding of the complete project management lifecycle and solution design.Technical knowledge of design, IT infrastructure, and network concepts.Experience in managing a cross-functional team from various business areas.Experience in communicating, including presentations to senior management, the board, and a variety of stakeholders.If you are interested in this role, please click apply today!
