Epiroc is now seeking a passionate and motivated Technical Trainer (Mobile Plant Maintenance - Underground) to join our dynamic and expanding training team. This role will be focused on delivering technical maintenance training for all Epiroc Underground product lines like Boomers, Simba, ScoopTram, and Minetruck. As a technical trainer, you will work out of one of our national offices in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, or Adelaide, and support our customer sites throughout Australia and PNG. This is a unique opportunity for anyone who has in-field maintenance experience and is looking to make a shift to a rewarding career in training. Epiroc will support, develop, and mentor the right applicants to ensure success, and offer varying rosters, allowing for a work-life balance that suits your needs. You will have the option to work either Monday to Friday or on an 8/6 roster, providing flexibility and stability in your schedule. If you have a passion for training, exceptional technical knowledge of Epiroc Underground Machines, and a desire to share your expertise and make a difference, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. The key responsibilities of this role include: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on Epiroc Underground products to internal and external customers. Create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, manuals, and hands-on activities. Conduct training sessions both in a classroom setting and on-site, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback mechanisms, continuously improving the training programs based on results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to stay updated on product developments and incorporate them into training materials. The successful candidate will have: Experience maintaining Epiroc underground machines in the mining industry. Strong technical knowledge of Epiroc underground machines, their functions, and maintenance requirements. Experience (desirable) in delivering technical training programs, preferably within the mining or heavy machinery industry. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt training content to various audiences. Proficiency in creating training materials using tools such as PowerPoint. A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. Desirable – Cert IV Training & Assessment qualification.
