Technical Trainer in South AustraliaWe are looking for a Technical Trainer located in Kilburn to provide training, assessment and certification of employees and contractors in accordance with relevant standards.

Some duties of a Technical Trainer will include:
Delivery of Certificate IV in Trainee Train Driving schools, covering subjects like Safeworking, Shunting, Train examination e.g., the things you do as a driver on a daily basis.Delivery of Engine & Airbrake Training SchoolsUse technology like Virtual Reality (and maybe even driving simulators in the future) to further enhance the training delivery in a safe and controlled environment.Assist operations with on-job assessments where required.Provide support and in field instruction and coaching of rail operations trainees.Help determine the training needs of drivers to identify opportunities for process improvement and ultimately improve the effectiveness of training.Mentor and support RTA's across NSWIdeally you will have:
Certificate IV in Train Driving or equivalent.Relevant certificate in training and assessmentRelevant industry experienceRelevant qualifications which include Aurizon Train Driver Qualified (or equivalent).Training experience.This is generally a Monday to Friday role where you get your weekends back and say goodbye to shift work!
