This role will have you supporting branch staff, customers and OEM's to ensure a high level of technical and product support is maintained.Reporting directly to the Customer Support Manager, you will:Support the full range of construction equipment including Hitachi and Bell, performing diagnostic evaluations, trouble shooting, fault finding and hydraulic testing.Travel throughout the region providing expert technical and diagnostic support to our customers with technical issues, creating solutions to meet their needs.Maintaining regular contact with our Service team and customers, conducting machine inspections and customer reports.Submitting Field reports to the Factory on Technical issues and resolutions.Co-coordinating technical document distribution and updates.Assist Hitachi technicians with technical fault finding and diagnostics.To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability in providing resolutions to internal and external customers in a timely manner.You will also need:A strongly developed awareness to personal and peer health and safety and displaying safety leadership.Relevant trade qualifications with excellent technical knowledge of construction equipment.Knowledge of Hitachi, Bell products would be an advantage.A commitment to deliver Total Customer Satisfaction to internal and external customers.A professional and diplomatic communication style, maintaining business critical relationships whilst delivering outcomes.Computer literacy in utilising OEM diagnostic software effectively and Microsoft office package.Here at Hitachi, we believe that success comes from the partnership of our market-leading products and the quality of our people.
