Ongoing full timeUsual work location: East Melbourne and Coburg (flexible work conditions may be available)The purpose of the Technical Support Officer role is to provide first level technical infrastructure support, assist staff in the area of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and resolve technical problems reported through the incident management system.
The role is also expected to:
Answer Service Desk calls and emails, register incidents and attend to their resolution, or escalate where appropriate.Assist with ICT asset registration and tracking.Install and commission new desktop hardware, printers, peripherals including desktop and mobile telephony.Provide technical support for end user technology, including desktop, laptop, mobile phones, remote access, print/scan/copy, audio video teleconferencing and standard software.Produce documentation for technical and user guides.Onsite and remote support for the East Melbourne and Coburg offices; hybrid work is available.About you You are driven, enthusiastic and set high standards in your work performance.You are a collaborative team player with a "can do" attitude.You have solid spoken and written communication skills in writing emails, letters and reports.You are a strong problem solver; you identify and provide workable solutions.Experience and qualifications Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology.
