Loreto College Coorparoo is seeking applicants for a Technical Support Officer – Helpdesk (L1) to provide great customer service to students, staff and parents of the College. You will have strong technical skills and working knowledge of hardware and software applications, as well as excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills to resolve issues.

This is a full-time position, working 38 hours per week between the hours of 7.30am and 3.36pm, Monday to Friday.
This position is part of a diverse team of six (6) IT professionals, including the Head of Technology, Strategy and Operations, Infrastructure Security Manager, Network Administrator, Technical Support Officer - Events and Service Desk and Technical Support Officer - Data, Integration and Systems.
As a member of the ICT Strategic Services and Operations team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our Academic and Professional staff to provide essential Helpdesk services to our students and families. 
The Key Responsibilities of this position include: Helpdesk Services - providing general IT support and assistance to students and staff with hardware and software issues, responding to in-person and online service desk requests in a timely manner. Asset Creation and Maintenance - Perform annual user set-up of new devices, arrange replacement devices when appropriate, and maintain accurate records of laptops and related accessories issued to staff and studentsCybersecurity and safety - Actively participate in student and staff protection strategies, including regular audits of College devices for malware, observing both Industry and College protocols and standards, and promote anti-phishing campaigns to increase awareness in the College community Product and Process Improvement - support and review ICT Strategic Services and Operations procedures and activities to deliver outcomes of a high standardCollege Activities - support ICT Strategic Services and Operations team activities at meetings, assemblies and events.Please refer to our website for the full Position Description (https://www.loreto.qld.edu.au/discover-loreto/employment/).
About You The Technical Support Officer - Helpdesk will possess effective customer service and communication skills which can adapt to a diverse client base of varying ages and technical abilities. The successful candidate will be well organised and able to offer a high level of technical competency, while able to respond to enquiries and provide solutions in a timely manner.
