About the Role Based in BYD's Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, this role will support the Technical Service function of appointed Dealers, providing technical advice and support in the areas of technical, warranty, recalls/rework and customer concern investigation & resolution.
Your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:
Respond to all lodged technical support requests through the appropriate channels.Provide onsite/remote vehicle diagnostic support.Customer concern resolution and rework/recall directives.Report on field product quality concerns and support field issue investigations.Liaise with the factory on technical and field issues in conjunction with the Technical & Engineering Manager.Create, validate, and maintain technical documentation and service bulletins in conjunction with the publication specialist.Communicate and broadcast to the dealer network on technical issue resolutions and fixes through dealer bulletins and advice.Key Requirements: To be considered for the role, you will require a Certificate 3 in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle) or equivalent, or Automotive Electrician.Minimum 5 years' experience in either a customer service or technical support role in the automotive field, preferably with Master or Diagnostic Technician status.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).If you believe you are a good fit for the role, please don't hesitate to click on APPLY and submit your updated resume.
