The role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical claims management advice and collaborative consultation to ensure prompt and compliant claims finalisation procedures are monitored and adhered to.
You'll be responsible for: Work with other Technical Specialists and managers in ensuring the effective management of claims and advocate the use of alternate strategies as required to progress the claim towards timely finalisation.
Provide technical claims management advice by responding promptly and accurately to claim referrals.
Assist managers as required, in identifying and implementing new ideas, which create value for customers, staff and/or AAL.
Contribute to the achievement of the team's financial targets and KPIs as per the relevant deed, services contract, and incentive schemes.
Work closely with the Managers and Claims Managers to ensure that the team manages all claims in accordance with legislative requirements and common law practice.
Ensure that a high level of privacy is maintained in all interactions with other parties and in accordance with AAL corporate guidelines and Services Contracts.
About You: Significant Workers Compensation experience and knowledge of the relevant legislation.
Experience in a customer service delivery environment.
Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
Ability to focus on end outcomes and work accordingly to achieve the desired results.
