Join us in the driver's seat as experts in our field and be responsible for assisting the Project Manager, Design Partners, and Delivery Partners while providing technical oversight of all construction aspects including quality, operational, and HSE on site for the duration of the project, whilst providing feedback on any issues to the Project Manager.
With a Hybrid working arrangement this role is site-based and is part of the Commissioning and Construction team within the Transmission line of business. Regular travel will be required in this role.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Completing Business case reviews, Delivery partner technical tender reviews, and preconstruction site reviews and inspections Support the design input for constructability and timelines Advise delivery partner of site set up and installation requirements as per Work Safe and SDM Assist with incident investigations and reviews of delivery partner reports Regularly monitor the site to ensure network operational capabilities are maintained at all times Conduct Audits of site personnel and equipment for compliance with delivery partner site/works safety plan and AusNet Services HSE&Q requirements and ensure they are entered into Enablon system Support project managers with the monitoring of the HSEQ practices on site in-line with the requirements Assist in the Principle Contractor hand over and set up Verification of Construction Delivery Partners (CDP's) variations and Request for Information (RFI) as Subject Matter Expert (SME) Assist the PM with the Management and control changes to the project scope Provide input into Project Constructability, Operability & Maintainability (COM) Reviews and Practical Completion (PC) delivery partner hand over Quality Assurance of Construction, whilst ensuring a comprehensive handover of the new equipment is carried out at the end of the project You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: Tertiary qualifications with Cert 3 Electrical &/or significant experience in this line of work Experience in Distribution and Transmission Primary/Secondary Construction Ability to manage to deadlines and escalate issues where required Proactive and self-driven with demonstrated ability to prioritise and plan Committed to the safety of the community, as a whole and employees engaged in the provision of services Ability to negotiate, influence and maintain constructive stakeholder relationships A real place to belong.
