To support our growth, role has been created to design the long term operational environment in Commercial Claims to support these relationships. The successful candidate will work with the Commercial Claims leadership team and key stakeholders to build governance and operational processes to deliver best in class claims service and support for our Agency and Scheme distribution partners, including recommending the optimal resourcing and operational structure to deliver against our growth objective.
What you'll do: Work closely with the Agency and Schemes team and front-line claims teams designing how we onboard and maintain distribution partner relationships and embedding the contractual obligations into claims processesCreating the operational structure and processes to manage claims and/or oversee the management of claims by distribution partners within Vero claims management delegations of authority, governance and risk frameworks and regulatory requirementsCreate and embed strong financial controls around imprest account management and bordereaux claims payment processing generallyClaims relationship management contact for internal stakeholders and onboarded distribution partnersEnsuring quality assurance reviews for outsourced claims management arrangements are conducted in compliance with Suncorp's Quality Audit Governance Standard and contractual obligations with its distribution partners.What you'll bring: Demonstrated knowledge of claims processes as they relate to Scheme and Agency Binder arrangements, particularly in long tail claim portfoliosRobust understanding of GICoP, Insurance regulatory environment and Suncorp's Enterprise Risk FrameworkRelevant experience in commercial claims, risk or binder management environmentsAbility to deal with complex issues, build relationships at all levels, and negotiate with and influence internal and external stakeholders (including brokers).What we can offer you: Discounts of up to 25% on our various Insurance, Banking & Superannuation productsFlexible working environment and arrangements; genuine focus on work-life balanceNumerous discounts with our corporate partners (retail & shopping / travel & holiday / health & wellbeing)We offer support and various programs for our people: (Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Referral Program ($600), Facilities for nursing mothers, Years of Service Recognition)If this opportunity sounds like the challenge you have been looking for please apply online today or for more information please contact ******
