An exciting opportunity exists to join our Group Aftersales team as Technical Specialist for LDV. Reporting to the LDV National Service Manager, this role plays a crucial role in providing technical advice and support to all dealers and assisting the National Service Manager with technical issues at a national level.
Main Responsibilities: Assisting dealers with service, warranty, and technical issues. Responding to all lodged technical support requests through the appropriate channels. Liaising with Customer Relations team and dealers regarding customer care issues. Liaising with Warranty Department and facilitating training, audit/compliance requests. Communicating and assisting with issues pertaining to vehicle distribution and logistics including surveying. Liaising with factory on technical, training, and dealer issues in conjunction with National Service Manager. Providing assistance with technical documentation and reporting in relation to homologation and new models. Communicating with the dealer network on technical issues and fixes through dealer bulletins and advice. What we are looking for: Qualified Mechanic or Automotive Electrician. Extensive current experience in technical diagnosis, fault finding, and repair. Experience working with electric vehicles desirable. Experience in using all Microsoft Office tools, with intermediate Excel skills required. Current industry knowledge and understanding. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, well-developed time management, organizational and computer skills, and ability to work autonomously in a team environment.
