The Harry James Group is working with a global leader in technology, who specialize in PV inverter system solutions and energy storage equipment for residential, commercial, and utility-scale PV applications, who are looking to add Technical Support Engineers to their expanding team.
Responsibilities:
– Responsible for pre-sales technical support of PV Inverter, BESS PCS, and BESS products.
– Provide timely and excellent customer support, and maintain strong relationships with clients' technical teams
– Provide bidding support on large-scale PV, BESS, and hybrid projects – technical solution proposals based on available products, technical document packages, bidding documents, etc.
– Prepare and review technical related documents, and support commercial team on relevant document review.
– Participate in technical marketing activities and present our clients technologies and solutions to the market.
– Follow up on local applicable standards.
– Proactively stay up to date with all the latest technologies concerning products and the underlying technologies.
– Assist in market analyses, includes but not limited to customer's demand and feedback, market trend, etc.
Requirements:
– Candidates MUST have full working rights in Australia.
– Hold as a minimum an Electrical, Electronics, Power System, Automation or related Engineering bachelor's degree, a master's degree is preferable.
– Minimum of five (5) years renewable energy industry experience.
– Good understanding of PV and BESS systems and renewable energy system designs.
– Solid knowledge of electrical principles.
– Skillset in CAD, Microsoft Office.
– Prior experience in Electrical Engineering, experience in working/liaising with inverter manufacturer, large-scale project developer, and EPC is preferrable.
– Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
– Self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, and have ability to engage with and influence a
variety of stakeholders in a way that generates business benefit whilst maintaining key relationships.
– Verbal and written Chinese communications skills preferred.
