Technical Services Deployment Technician -

About the Company Our client is a world-class end-to-end IT services provider who works with organisations from all sectors around the globe.
About the role You will provide desktop support to our customer in Gold Coast.
This role has an ASAP start and is a 2-week initial contract with potential to extend, depending on performance and capacity.
Schedule/hours Work is ad-hoc in nature therefore, there are NO guaranteed hours. Every effort will be made by this client to involve you in suitable projects and shifts.
Shifts will be conducted between 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities Provide technical support for desktop computers, software, and peripherals.Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems and software.Communicate effectively with users, document solutions, and ensure security compliance.Requirements Mandatory: Ability to commence with Full, clean Driver's License and your own vehicle.Ability to travel to project sites (City locations and regional)Must pass a police check prior to commencingSuccessful applicants will be required to purchase and carry a small toolkit.Required proven experience: Previous experience working in an IT service desk role, in-house or customer facingAn interest or experience with technology, particularly in a Microsoft environment.IT Qualifications/ Certifications (desirable)Excellent communication skillsStrong technical literacyDiversity and inclusion are strongly supported at Peoplebank.
