TRILITY is seeking a driven Sales professional to join our team. This role is based at our Thomastown, Victoria office.
The role You will provide efficient and professional technical sales of TRILITY and other distributed equipment, parts, fittings, incorporating water quality instrumentation, disinfection systems, chemical dosing pumps and gas chlorine equipment.
The role is a predominantly customer facing role and will have a strong business development focus as we look to grow sales in our Victoria, Tasmania and Southern NSW Territories.
Key responsibilities Plan, co-ordinate and control the activities of the sales cycle and close sales orders Provide quotations to customers and assist other Sales team members with technical enquiries Work with Sales/Products Leader to plan approaches to new customers and prepare annual budgets and quarterly Latest Best Estimate (LBE) updates Develop long-term relationships with customers through an account management process Generate and close recurring sales opportunities that assist with achieving customers' objectives Prepare sales orders, invoicing and associated documents  Maintain up to date market knowledge of the industry, competitors, technologies, and products Work closely with the Business Development team to manage smaller project opportunities and quotes  Work closely with the Service Managers to maximise cross selling of parts and equipment Represent TRILITY at industry events, client briefings or other external events What we are looking for Demonstrated experience in sales of equipment and spare parts Ability to put complex quotations together and negotiate sales Technical knowledge relevant to TRILITY's agreed product range Experience with financial management Ability to present a favourable professional image to customers in communications, attitude, behaviour and commercial acumen Working level knowledge of office applications including word, excel and database applications Knowledge of the water and wastewater treatment industry highly regarded Understanding of basic water chemistry and instrumentation principles desirable The Company TRILITY is an established industry leader, solely dedicated to the delivery of water, wastewater and reuse solutions across New Zealand and Australia's municipal, industrial and resource sectors.
