The facility also houses R&D, quality control laboratories, and a training centre to develop industry technical expertise.About the OpportunityDue to ongoing growth, a great opportunity has become available as a Technical Sales Representative – South Australia in our Resilient Line of products. This is a varied role where a good understanding of commercial and residential flooring systems, including floor preparation is a must. Your primary focus will be on strengthening our position in this market through our solid customer network.Working under the direction of the State Sales Manager, you will be given the opportunity to establish and further grow our Resilient Line products across the state.The RolePromote Mapei products and their technical advantages to all existing and new clientelePerform duties within the structure of Mapei Australia's policies (e.g. sales, pricing, expenses etc)Provide accurate project forecasting to the State Sales Manager for planning purposesAttend construction site meetings and offer sound technical assistance to all involved partiesTravel to outer regions 4 times a yearIncrease Mapei's footprint with new customers and increased sales within your territoryGain project specifications through various meansAbout YouMinimum 5 years' experience within the flooring industryProject management or estimating experience advantageousAbility to assist/organize training eventsReliable and honestAbility to build quick rapport with peopleA strong customer service delivery focusLanguage & Other SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively as a team memberHands-on and outcomes-focusedContinuous improvement mindsetAbout the BenefitsThis full-time role offers job stability where you can rest assured that you are joining a highly respected industry leader known for its innovative and environmentally sustainable product lines.
