They partner with premium manufacturers from around the globe to provide different industries with high-quality valves, vacuum handling, automation, and electric actuation product solutions for their sites.Due to continued growth and success, they are now looking for an ambitious and strategic Technical Sales Manager to join their Sydney/Melbourne office.Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the new team member will be fully supported by senior leaders and given the autonomy to develop sales and market strategies and grow ongoing share of spend across an existing portfolio of loyal clients.Your Responsibilities:Identify, develop and maintain sales prospects of sufficient quality and quantity to achieve sales and contributions budgets.Analyse the existing client portfolio and market to identify opportunities for growth.Showcase and promote the product portfolio through consistent use and demonstration of product animations and samples.Competitor analysis and tracking market dynamics to inform strategic sales decision-making.Develop a business development plan to meet key performance indicators.Take ownership of and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.Implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.Generate and nurture a pipeline of qualified leads, converting them to satisfied customers.Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.Develop a deep understanding of your assigned product and its features.Collaborate with internal teams including engineering and customer service to ensure seamless coordination and execution of business development strategies.About you:You are enthusiastic, intelligent and enjoy building positive relationships with people and helping to solve technical operational problems.You have:A track record in B2B sales/account management, ideally in mechanical or electrical automation componentry (preferred but not essential at commencement - comprehensive training will be provided) or other industry sectors such as manufacturing, machinery or processing.The ability to consult effectively with customers to investigate their current and future needs.At least 5 years sales experience in B2B markets.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong negotiation skills, experience using a consultative selling approach.A strong focus on customer needs, identifying 'pain points' and delivery on customer expectations and satisfaction will be dominant in this role.Highest ethical standards and integrity.Current Australian Driver licence.Solid Microsoft Office ability.This role offers the exciting opportunity for you to receive in-depth, regular product training, lead your own portfolio of business while being fully supported and working closely with the senior leadership team to excel.To find out more please contact Lee Luu at Proactive Global on 0427005272 or ****** Global is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.Proactive Global is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
