About the Job
Review historical pricing and volume commitments across all key segments and identify areas of opportunity to renegotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs and other terms
Identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve quality by benchmarking commodity costs across geographies and suppliers.
Managing direct procurement processes, including the purchasing or obtaining of raw materials.
Creating RFQs and overseeing competitive bidding cycles
Evaluating and strategic sourcing of potential suppliers
Negotiating contracts with vendors to secure the best deals and terms
Collaborating with internal departments to ensure procurement needs are met
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and laws
Incorporating new procurement software, e-procurement processes and business processes where necessary
Incorporating new sales software and processes where necessary
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
Monitor the achievements of sales objectives
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our market presence.
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Generate and follow up on leads to meet and exceed sales targets.
Negotiate sales agreements and contracts to secure new deals and renewals.
About You
Proven expertise in developing and executing sourcing strategies across categories.
Strong track record in supplier negotiations and relationship building
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to build effective working relationships both within and outside the organisation.
Ability to drive change
Strong attention to detail
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in technical or industrial products.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to analyse market trends, customer needs, and sales data to make informed decisions.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively.
Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
