About the PositionThe Report Writer will perform enhancements to existing reports and create new reports for a statewide information system.
These reports are developed using Microsoft's SQL Server Reporting Services software (SSRS).
The requirement is for the delivery of Technical Report Writer Services associated with all phases of the application development lifecycle, including migration and enhancements to numerous initiatives, which include, but are not limited to:User AccessExcursion PlannerSATE (Senior Assessments and Tertiary Entrance)Other approved initiatives and enhancementsDutiesDelivering Business Information Systems and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) over the Software Development Life Cycle, including their architecture, design, development, and delivery.Application maintenance and development services using .NET skills.Working with other teams within the Information & Technologies Branch such as Applications Environments, Database Operations, Enterprise Integration Platform (EIP), Enterprise/Solution Architects, etc.Requirements/SkillsDemonstrated experience in delivering Business Information Systems and APIs.Proficiency in:
SQL Server 2012 – 2017Microsoft SQL Server (including SQL Azure)Microsoft .NET 4 – 4.5.x and .Net CoreWindows ServerTeam Foundation Server/Azure DevopsMicrosoft Azure ServicesSharePoint 2010 – 2013PingFedReporting Services 2016
Experience with web-based applications developed using Microsoft .NET frameworks with languages and frameworks such as:
C#JavascriptJQueryTSQLAngularXMLASP.NET (MVC & Entity Framework)TypeScript
