Description: Key Responsibilities include: Audit & Non-Conformance Reporting: Conduct or supervise internal audits and provide detailed internal audit report of findings, as well as scheduling and managing external audits as required to ensure continued compliance. Work with site managers to discuss corrective actions requests and respond to audit report findings. Non-Conformance Management: Close out internal/external corrective actions requests within agreed time frames and manage the recall process. Approved Supplier Program: Direct and apply Technical and Compliance matters related to local and international sourcing and control requirements. Food Import Compliance Agreement (FICA): Direct day-to-day management of the Calendar Cheese FICA program, including managing FICA product holds and sampling directions with the procurement, inwards goods and warehouse teams. Manage annual FICA audits and close out any Corrective Action Requests (CAR), and manage Import and Biosecurity matters as directed by Department of Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) Product Quality & New Product Development (NPD): Ensure compliance with state and federal food safety standards including product composition and labelling compliance. Maintain product and packaging specifications. Facilitate and coordinate efficient and effective quality standards within customer expectations. Skills and Experience: Degree or Diploma in Natural Sciences (Ideally a BSc in food technology / microbiology) Food Quality and Safety documentation and reporting HACCP Principles and Application, and Good Manufacturing Practices Experience Submitting and implementing Corrective Action Plans Qualified and experienced Internal Auditor with experience in dealing with regulatory agencies Prior experience with FSANZ (Food Standards Australia New Zealand) standards Experience in systems, developing, maintaining and enforcing schedules Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for effective problem solving Microsoft Office 365 suite with intermediate Word & Excel skills Experience using ERP and MRP systems (preferably M3) Experience working in a fast-paced FMCG team environment Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including to build relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels. High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
