Responsibilities
Communicate with clients, suppliers, engineers, and stakeholders to assist in delivering project success.
Key point of contact between suppliers and the Company.
Assist with processing Bill of Materials (BOMs) into purchasing activity.
Arrange quotations, generate purchase orders, invoices and any ad hoc administration as required.
Coordinate, organise and manage incoming and outgoing deliveries.
Coordinate shipping and relevant insurance requirements.
Inward goods receipt and undertake occasional light warehousing type tasks related to receivals.
Procurement of technical consumables, PPE and Tooling.
Maintain and update relevant systems in relation to inventory, estimated delivery dates and prioritisation levels.

To be successful in this role you will also need: Prior technical purchasing and project administrative experience in an engineering or technical environment.
Prior experience maintaining task documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with engineering/technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
Good working knowledge of commercial purchasing processes.
Working knowledge of inventory management software/ERP system.
Intermediate IT skills – MS office proficient, SharePoint and MS Teams (high proficiency).
Supplementary requirements
Experience working in medium to large-scale projects, ideally technical projects or production environments is desired.
Driver's License (desirable) Ability to pass background checks, including Australian National Police clearance check and pre-employment references.
