Technical Writing (Information & Communication Technology) Full time Tell me about this role:
We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Technical Publications Writers to join our team on a permanent basis. We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier.
These roles will be Melbourne based and will play a critical part in delivering the latest in Land capability technology to our Defence Force.
Some of the projects include armoured fighting vehicles, soldier modernisation program, lifecycle management of in-service fleet, deployable health infrastructure and more.

What will I be doing day to day? Plan, develop, organise, write and edit standard operating procedures and manualsResearch, develop and write technical design specifications & technical manualsDevelop written or visual product/process/technical documentation, business process maps, and user manualsWrite complex technical subject matter for a range of stakeholders, including non-technical or executive staffManage updates and revisions to technical documents, procedures and manualsWhat sort of skills do I need? Tertiary qualification, certification, vendor course or relevant industry experienceDemonstrated experience in strong technical authoring skillsAbility to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiencesStrong communication skillsProcess oriented with good attention to detailMinimum NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen)What's in it for me?
