Technical Publications Assistant

Rex is seeking a suitably experienced individual to join the Technical Publications team in the full-time role of Technical Publications Assistant, based at our Sydney head office in Mascot.
In your role, you will develop structures and complete amendments to varying forms of Company documentation. The Technical Publications Assistant works in consultation with other members of the Flight Operations Management Team and should possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare, produce and publish amendments to the Rex Group Manuals with accuracy,
Produce documentation to satisfy training requirements,
Assist in the maintenance of the Document Control Database,
Create and/or complete amendments to ancillary documentation,
Distribute third party documentation to external vendors,
Update aircraft libraries as required, at times across the network,
Maintain the Flight Crew Notices Webpages and Airport Advisory Webpage.
Selection Criteria:
High level of computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe suite of software, including Framemaker and common document management software,
Excellent attention to detail and high standards of quality,
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal,
Ability to prioritise assigned tasks to meet deadlines,
Strong team working skills, with the ability to work accurately unsupervised when required,
Ability to analyse problems, identify root causes and provide solutions,
Willingness to work flexible hours, when required.
