Rare opportunity within a Federal Government Department 12 month contract + 2 x 12 month extension Rewarding hourly rates $$$ A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage a skilled  Project Technical Officer  to join a highly skilled team.
In this you will assist with the support and delivery of a major ICT project based from Tasmania.
The successful Project Technical Officer  will be offered a  12 month contract with 2 x 12 month extensions!
The successful  Project Technical Officer  will be responsible for, but not limited to: Investigating and resolving technical issues including logging, diagnosis, and resolution as appropriate under the direction of the project team.
Structured analysis and a creative approach to complex problem solving and resolution in complex projects to meet deadlines.
Implementation of new infrastructure, technology acquisitions, software solutions and upgrades under the supervision of the project teams.
Maintenance of inventories including Documentation, Design Library, Software Assets, Hardware Assets, and Integration Interfaces.
The successful  Project Technical Officer  will have experience in the following: Successfully managed and delivered ICT projects and/or large corporate ICT transformation programs.
Exposure across various delivery methodologies inclusive of Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid.
Hardware installation and hardware maintenance of IT infrastructure and equipment, including servers, routers, switches, VoIP equipment, and computers.
With RF, 4G LTE or Satellite communications systems equipment and installation.
Providing guidance and leadership to a multi-disciplinary project team, 3rd party vendors, and/or other departmental teams to deliver projects.
