About the Role As a Technical Project Manager focusing on data projects, you will:
Manage end-to-end delivery of large-scale data initiatives, including data warehousing, analytics, and cloud-based solutions.Collaborate with clients to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria for data-focused engagements.Coordinate with data engineers, analysts, and consultants to ensure seamless execution of project deliverables.Lead Agile ceremonies to ensure effective collaboration and alignment across cross-functional teams.Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Ensure high-quality delivery, from requirements gathering through to implementation and client handover.Key Responsibilities Oversee multiple concurrent data projects, ensuring alignment with client goals.Act as the main point of contact for clients, translating complex data requirements into actionable plans.Work closely with technical teams to ensure the right tools, platforms, and methodologies are employed.Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Continuously refine project management and delivery practices to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.About You You're a driven professional with a track record of delivering successful data projects. You bring:
5+ years of project management experience, including leading data-centric projects such as analytics implementations, cloud migrations, or data pipeline development.Strong understanding of data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS), data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL), and ETL processes.Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.Ability to liaise effectively with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.A proactive approach to navigating challenges and driving project success through communication and documentation.Relevant qualifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile (Scrum Master, SAFe) are highly regarded.Why Skillfield?
