As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the Region Services organization and serve as a technical resource.
The TPM will be responsible for driving large-scale global projects and initiatives, leading cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new workflow features and tools that enhance productivity, open capacity at a faster rate, and secure devices to AWS standards.
We are looking for a passionate, deeply technical, and results-oriented Technical Program Manager (TPM) to define and drive Region Services initiatives.
You will have a proven track record of planning and delivering complex programs with a multi-year roadmap, using Agile and incremental delivery methods.You will have the opportunity to work closely with Service Teams, Security, Infrastructure, and Business Development to design and deliver new AWS regions.
You will work with all stakeholders to develop schedules that ensure timely launch of new regions.
You will assess risks, anticipate issues, overcome technical obstacles, make difficult trade-off decisions, and balance business needs and technical constraints.Successful candidates will have a strong technical background, be detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving abilities.
You will have a deep understanding of distributed system design and delivery.
You will successfully represent program status to senior leadership.
