10 Nexus Ct, Mulgrave VIC 3170, Australia Req #4779City FM Australia (City) provide world leading Facilities Management, Engineering and Energy solutions which ensure safe, successful and sustainable outcomes, on time and on budget for our partner - Coles.THE OPPORTUNITYThe successful incumbent of this Fixed Term role as a Technical Procurement Officer will be the key point of contact for our partner Coles, suppliers and City team members and will be instrumental in processing equipment order requests in line with delivery requirements and expectations.Your key responsibilities will include:Develop and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure that equipment is ordered and delivered within designated timeframes.Request and manage comparative quotations and availability on equipment from suppliers and negotiate terms to the companies' targets.Read plans to develop inventory lists for customers.Comprehensive Database management and status tracking of all projects.Manage all placed orders including potential equipment delays.Manage all capital / case equipment orders from start to finish while ensuring that delivery dates are achieved.Ensure a smooth communication flow to all parties and manage project deadline expectations.Prepare invoices to our partner from completed capital projects in line with the project management timeframe.To be considered for this role you will have / be:Tertiary qualification in Business / Purchasing / Logistics / Supply Chain / Project Management (or similar) – highly preferred.Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to liaise with all levels within the organisation.Strong attention to detail in a complex and demanding environment.Must have strong communication skills - verbal & written.Must have strong analytical skills with a high level of initiative.Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.Full Australian working rights.What we offer:9-month Fixed term role with ability to secure permanent role.Hybrid working model (WFH 2 days a week)Free onsite parking when in office.Work within a growing FM organisation and a supportive team.If you would like the opportunity to be part of a growing Australian Facilities Management business, we would love to hear from you.
